Συνδυάζοντας προσωπικές ιστορίες και εικόνες από αδελφικά παιχνίδια, ασθένειες, ταξίδια και εγωιστικές, επιθετικές συμπεριφορές, μεταμορφώσαμε σε χορό τις εμπειρίες και τα συναισθήματά μας ως έναν τρόπο να μοιραστούμε τον θησαυρό που ονομάζεται μνήμη.

The latin word “memini” means to hold in remembrance, recall, keep in mind.
Combining personal stories and pictures from brotherhood games, sicknesses, travels and egoistic, aggressive behaviors, we transformed our experiences and feelings into dance as a way of sharing the treasure that is called memories.

Emmanouela Nikoli Dolianiti comes from Greece, where she graduated from the National School of Dance in Athens, and from the University of Ioannina where she studied Philosophy, Education and Psychology. She has been working with Constanza Macras I Dorkypark, Sasha Waltz & Guests, Romeo Castellucci, Maria Colusi, Kadir Amigo Memis, Stella Zannou, Saori Hala, Fire Circus Walkea and Shape Productions. In 2016 she collaborated with Yuya Fujinami for the creation of the duet ‘memini’ that premiered in Japan, and a year later received the audience award of Best Duo 2017 at the 9th ‘Internationales SoloDuo Festival’ in Cologne. In 2018, her second collaboration between Yuya Fujinami and the director Hristina Vasic Tomse, led to the duet ‘E T H E R E A L’ which was co-produced by Constanza Macras I Dorkypark and EX-teater.

Yuya Fujinami began his dance and gymnastics education in Japan and upgraded his studies at the Hamburg Ballet John Neumeier. After graduation, he worked in different theaters in Europe and had the opportunity to be next to Jan Pusch, Stephan Thoss, Roy Assaf, Douglas Thorpe, Katrin Hall, Yuki Mori, Annabelle Bonnery amongst other international choreographers. During his engagement with the theaters, Yuya choreographed and collaborated with artist such as Olaf Bender (Raster-Noton), Interdans and Congress Innsbruck. Since 2015 he is a freelancer based in Berlin and has performed with Constanza Macras, Stella Zannou, Massimo Gerardi, Ania Aristarkhova. In 2017 his collaboration with Emmanouela Dolianiti in the piece “memini” received the award of the audience for the Best Duo 2017 at the 9. Internationales SoloDuo Festival in Cologne.
